Dublin!

There are some things you can't put into words, kids. Dublin was silly and expensive and fun and I only have about half the pictures that were taken with me in mind, since my camera is a battery-sucker and I ran out and didn't want to buy more when I had some here at the castle ( Read more... )

He looks all blurry and weird 'cause he was set really far back so that people couldn't go up to him and like, grope him.

At first the giraffe slide confused me cause I thought "Giraffes can't use SLIDES!" but then I realized it just LOOKED like a giraffe...
Great zoo pictures! Usually when I've been to the zoo all the good animals (lions, tigers) are off sleeping or ignoring people. You actually got to see them, and from fairly close no less!

Oh man, I ACTUALLY *LOL*ed at that. <3

And yeah, the slide isn't for, um, big kids. Katie and I both went down it anyway! I felt young again for like five minutes.

There were a lot of animals that were hiding and being jerks, or just weren't there at all because of the whole IT'S FEBRUARY, NO ONE GOES TO THE ZOO! thing. No polar bears present, no artic foxes, no bongoes, no cheetahs. I think I'm going to go to the London Zoo one of these weekends and see if I can't make up for what was missing.
