Dorian took a sip from his wine before putting the glass on the table beside him, his eyes glued to the book in his lap. He turned the page, shaking his head as he did so. “Incredible,” he said softly, turning to the next page. “I didn’t know this even existed.”
“I thought it would amuse you,” Klaus said from his own chair.
Dorian looked up, an amazed smile on his face. “Where on Earth did you get this?”
“I have confidential sources, you know.”
Dorian gave a snort. “If I didn’t know better, I’d say you stole it.”
Now it was Klaus’s turn to snort. “That’s your jurisdiction,” he said, rising to his feet.
“Smug bugger,” Dorian chided, returning his attention to the book in his lap. “That’s my parent’s wedding photo.”
By this time, Klaus was standing over him. He reached down, flipping to a marked page. “This one is my favorite.”
Dorian looked down, a surprised cry escaping him. “Good God!”
He stared in horror at the full-color photo of a naked infant, whose head was covered in blond curls, lying on a bearskin rug. The words engraved in gold proudly announced it to be Dorian Red Gloria, the first-born son of the Earl of Gloria on the occasion of his first birthday.
The horrified Dorian looked up when he heard Klaus chuckling. “Beast! This is embarrassing.”
Klaus continued to chuckle as he leaned down to plant a gentle kiss on the Earl’s mouth. “You still have a very nice ass.”
Dorian put the book on the table before pouncing on the man, dragging him to the floor. “You always know just what to say.”
