sucky teaching day

Fridays are supposed to be happy days. Today is not a happy day. My two tough classes were the worst ever (well, except for the first day, during which there was a fight). I feel really demoralized. I know these kids CAN behave, they just won't for me, which means my classroom management sucks, which isn't really a surprise I guess. I don't do mean

Can you ask any of the TFA people for advice? Like, even that girl who has better classroom management than you (though, have you considered that perhaps her classes are just more easily managed?). And there might be other factors involved. Like, is she older than you? Does she look older than you? Maybe if you can figure out or ask what other people are doing right, you can try to use it. That's what TFA is supposed to be there for, right? As a network to help you and support you. So, I dunno, mine your resources there and try to get some advice from anyone more experienced or who is having an easier time.
