Just curious: is anyone going to skip this ep so they can watch Still first?

So continuity wasn't a huge thing in this ep. There were only two moments that seemed out of place but weren't very obvious: 1) Gates' look to Beckett when she says Kate has to stay with Erik (seems like she knows now) and 2)Lanie saying "Kate, I know you love, Castle...", which could means one of two things - she already said it or it's just an observation ( ... )

The only scenes I liked in this episode were Lanie's accent and Ryan's allergy parallel.

As for foreshadowing. I approve more of the job theory. That'd be life changing for the Team, as Marlowe said.

I actually think Beckett needed to be more straight up at the end of the episode. Castle isn't always going to understand the real issue. That doesn't make him dense. I can understand why he thought what he thought. Beckett didn't straight up tell him. She wasn't pushy enough.

Ok maybe dense was a strong word to use. Lol. But I honeslty think Castle didn't get Kate's question. My question is though why didn't Kate push it harder if she was so worried about the relationship?

Loved Ryan's reaction in the hotel room when Kate confessed to the kiss. I couldn't stop laughing (and of course I made a gif set on that whole scene because it was begging me too :D). Lanie accent was hilarious!

I loved the entire hotel scene! I loved the way she wasn't messing around (neither with Vaughn nor with fessing up) and could very confidently state what had happened with every sign of a clear conscience - and I loved Castle's reaction, who got it INSTANTLY without any signs of childish (or even legitimate) jealousy. Both actions/reactions are signs of a very stable relationship.

I also loved the way they played the last scene. Personally, I think she went in there and had a great evening - but will bring her question back up at a later point. THAT'S maybe when continuity will become an issue, when "Still" takes off from a completely different premise than the wake of last night's ep.
But then, they've never been big on continuity, so we'll be able to overlook it.

Surprisingly good ep. The - what? - fourth in a row I had very little to nothing to nag about..... ;-)

PS: Oh, and I NEED to see that gif!
