You know what? I really hope Kate thinking of taking the job has NOTHING to do with Castle not being serious about her. 'Cause if that's the reason why she's considering taking that job, I would kill someone. Because in my mind, that's not a valid reason.
I hope so too. There are perfectly legitimate reasons for her to consider it. And just the possibility would be a challenge for her and Castle's relationship, so they wouldn't need the extra fake drama of "she's not sure about him." So much of their relationship now is based on them working together, so I'd actually be really interested in seeing the show take on the question of what they would be to each other if they weren't working together anymore. So, yes to the storyline, but no to any stupid reasons for it. :D
I would love to see her take the job and see them work apart but still be together. I think it would definitely pose a complicated s6 as AM said and it would be interesting to watch. There's so much potential there!
It would be like Grey's where Cristina is away from the hospital for awhile but returns a few eps later.
