my friend used to cut her hair to start anew, as if she were cutting off the memories of those times past when she had that hair.

me? i usually get fed up with long hair and cut it, but, surprisingly, i haven't felt that yet. maybe i'm in love (with my hair).

I call it cutting off deadweight. temporalxis10ce August 31 2005, 17:37:30 UTC
I do it all the time (side note: my friend just cut hers for the same reason). It's a freeing experience. Then again, I'm just one who likes to restart all the time and to posses some kind of control over some aspect of my life.

and yes, it is an "emotional inverse-samson complex".

it's funny how much we understand of each other long after the fact.

sorry i havent been so good at answering texts. i'm doing really well--very tired/stressed/unable to sleep when the obnoxious girl next to our room has looney tunes on at 5 am, but whatever.

i really miss you, honestly, and ashley and me will be back sometime this year.
