Well, I consider any political information from a major media source suspect. That said, some of the only direct information I have thus far on the presidential candidates and their ideas toward education is that Obama and Clinton would both do little to improve the NCLB Act, which I believe needs significant reform. Wait. Didn't Clinton say this? Obama's statement is here. So far I think that all of the democrat candidates have basically said that NCLB is a disaster because of the way its being administered and interpreted. Part of this is probably because its one of Bush's flagship programs and its important for them to be seen opposing almost everything that Bush stands for. Who knows if any of them would actually change anything or not. Its hard to tell who would be best on that issue.
