I'd recommend using the parking lot further away from the road. Even a small amount of additional driving is a deterrent. That and don't keep a bunch of stuff in your car; that could make it look a little more interesting (like there could be SOMETHING in there they could sell). Other than that, I'm going to install a couple of simple lights to spoof an alarm system as an additional deterrent.
