So I got a phone call that my assinment to Alabama may get diverted. I may end up in either Del Rio, TX (TX, but NOT where I'd like to be) or Biloxi, MS. AAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! Well DAMN! Del Rio? WHAT THE HELL KINDA POSTING IS THAT?!?! Is that on the f*cking border? YUCK! If you move there, you better keep Magnus in the house or the back yard. And Biloxi? Yep, on the border. Now I'm in a mild panic... sometimes I hate my job. I sent her an e-mail that Keesler is my preferance, but I haven't heard back. Eeep.

gah, that's a bit arse, surely they have to give you a bit more warning than that? It would be annoying enough if it was just you, but if you're moving your entire family as well it kind of takes a bit more planning!

LOL, no... they don't. Some people have even shorter notice, but that doesn't mean I'm not frustrated by it. :(

Do you guys get help finding a place at all? I know here the Forces get housing provided to a certain extent, my friend's hubby is RAF and they live in a village that is basically all RAF families.

I have a housing allowance, but all the legwork is on me. I just hope I hear something concrete soon.

Ugh! That's just rotten. Nothing like more stress on top of that stress of yours! I pray it somehow all works out for the best and this is just a speedbump in the road and nothing more.
