Excellent, excellent imagery of them in the aftermath of the crash - the injuries, the confusion, the fear. Abby trying to be pratical, Connor trying to do as Abby would, but overwhelmed with worry. Heartstopping relief at their reunion.

Poor Connor and his head injuries. :( He's gonna need a cuddle by the fire, actually the all do! Very gripping and exciting stuff, but I have a feeling it's only the tip of the ice.... volcano?

Thanks so much! I wanted to capture the moment. I can hardly think of much that is more terrifying, and when you add in worry about a loved one, even more so.

EEEP!! If this wasn't you writing this, I'd have been very worried about the fact Connor woke up alone (and I loved the little paragraph about his head injuries.. soooo true! LOL)

Trust Abby to be so practical and together, at least on the outside - and I do think she would feel it if Connor was dead and I believe that kept her going; she just knew he was still alive somewhere and that eventually she'd find him.

Onwards... I suspect you still have more in store for them before it gets better
