Rescue! \o/ This story was fantastic, just loved it! Of course brilliant Connor is brilliant with his locking mechanism being the means for rescue :) I loved Connor and Abby by the fireside, a little moment to be themselves in all the chaos ;) Poor Connor falling all over himself when his mouth runs off without him o_O Sorry that life has bee giving you a rough go of it. It's been smacking me around bit too lately so I can relate. Waking up to another chapter from you has certainly taken the edge off though :)
Missing reel?? Oh, yes please :D You can't have Connor all dripping wet in a towel and a very expectant Abby and just leave it there!
Always a silver lining... even in a bad situation, Connor's finding new things about the anomalies and taking him ever closer to piecing it all together.
Your writing always seems to take me right there; with them in the scene and inside their heads. Not many writers can do that.
You really captured Iceland so perfectly - a harsh beauty. It's as dangerous as it is serene. All this vast quiet surrounding a volcano, the most explosive (literally) force in the world!
I also loved Connor's poor squishy concussed brain working out theories on the nature of these new anomalies. He just can't stop, even when severely injured and in the middle of nowhere!
I think our couple deserve some nice R&R don't you? And perhaps a dip in some hot springs :D
LOL, no he can't stop. I've got hot springs in mind for the Missing Reel. ;) Glad you got a chance to read it, and I hope you enjoyed it even though it may not have ended up exactly as you'd like.

I'm glad you liked this! I had a very hard time this go-round trying to get it out; I think my muse has taken a holiday.
Thanks very much! (hugs back)
