Popped over to the zoo last Thursday. here are a few pictures.

Aww, that leopard cub is too cute.

There were two of them too, but I couldn't get a shot of them together. Happt just to see them though.

(a) - ooo *very* big kitty feet
(b) - the red-legged bird has a rather appealing froth of feathers in front of the eye - and the shadow makes it look like maybe lipstick :)
(c) - that is one disgusted bear-dog - somebody's Wheaties were not up to spec today

The kitty will get pretty big :)

I don't think the zoo gives lipstick to the birdies though :) Alhough perhaps they bribe the visitors to get it for them...

That seems to be standard expression for the bush dogs - although it may be sleep deprivation since they seem to have a litter of pups to deal with :)

critically endangered kitty, so it's excellent to see her and her sister doing well :)

The Diana Monkey looks as if he/she's locked on to something very interesting but quite far away; such an intensely concentrated expression, plus the focused eyes.

The Bush Dog does look a bit put-out about something. Perhaps the pups are at the canine equivalent of the Terrible-Twos stage :-)

The Librarian looks a bit like I feel sometimes in these darkening autumn days... thicker-duvet time is almost upon me.

The bush dog expression seems to be their default, but I daresay the pups can be trying :)

The librarian got up and wandered off without his blankie just after I took the picture, so hopefully he wasn't *too* cold :)
