I have a 1 year old loving, playfull boy,he's always getting into things and loves to play with his brother who is younger,smokey is his big brother and is always looking out for him. I couldn't ask for a better cat he's a huge lover,and he is my world. Well him and his brother got into my sewing kit and smokey ate some thread,and now he is laying ( Read more... )

I'm so sorry to hear that. Can you try Care Credit? Or work out a payment plan? I will be thinking of him and I hope everything turns out well!

We applied for care credit and got approved for $500, which doesn't even cover him staying at the hospital overnight. We have him scheduled for surgery at 8am. We plan on calling care credit in the morning to see if they can up our credit. (The emergency vet recommended this.)

I will let know how things go tomorrow. :)

I do hope you raise the funds and Smokey will be OK .He sounds so like my beloved Harry in personality.Have sent a small donation, wish I could afford more.

Thank you.I know how I would feel if my Harry was in a similiar position. I love my cats so much I also have 17 year old Leo.

Please let me know how Smokey gets on. He is very much in my thoughts. Cats are such special, loving companions.
