Exceeded Expectations - you know, I actually don't like gelato that much and I have only had it a couple of times so far this trip. Yesterday I had dark chocolate gelato with peach, cinnamon and basil gelato, which may sound kind of strange. It wasn't quite the death by chocolate of the cream puff in Ferrara, but it was probably the best gelato

Have you ruled out bedbug bites? They tend to bite in clusters while one is sleeping. In mosquito season, of course, it's hard to know the difference.

Not ruled out entirely of course, I know they are a major problem in a lot of places right now, but my bites have occurred mostly on my arms and hands, which are outside the covers when I sleep, and have cleared up in places where I didn't need to have the windows open at night for ventilation - whereas I think once you have bedbugs they follow you around wherever you go.
