After going back and forth and weighing out pros vs. cons of an ELECTIVE (3D/4D) ULTRASOUND... the appointment is booked!  We'll be doing our 3D ultrasound next Wednesday... (which will be nice especially since I'll be able to "introduce" the baby to the guests at the shower via baby-in-utero dvd!)  I'm looking forward to it...

Looks like Marcin and I -will- go ahead and do a 3D ultrasound... maybe.  The closest one WAS in downtown TO but apparently they JUST STOPPED doing 3D/4D ultrasounds and are just sticking with purely doctor-sent diagnostic ultrasounds.   There's a couple in North York so maybe we'll go there and get one... Update: I just got an e-mail from my job that was sent to everyone that works there... which, pretty much, says that they are not booking people as of this upcoming Monday.  No bookings = no income = no job?  In any case, there was a note that said that we would be contacted to have this explained to us... but...?  Maybe there IS no job, at least ( Read more... )

In the last week or so I have noticed a BIG difference in Leah's movements- it's like she got a LOT stronger these last few days because when she kicks... the area she kicks in moves, bigtime!  It was to the point that this morning my mother and I were talking and I was lying on my side... and out of the corner of her eye, she SAW Leah moving ( Read more... )

Yesterday I went to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre's BabyTime Show (which was put on by Today's Parent magazine.)  It was a really cool experience.  I ended up purchasing a really cool diaper bag (although I don't think Marcin likes it because it's hot pink camo!) for half price (it was outrageously expensive at BabiesRUs), some large freezer ( Read more... )
