I may have actually finished my thesis tonight, oh god finally. It is pretty shit, to tell the truth, but when all is said and done, I'm happy with it.

Tomorrow I will be going off to Officeworks to get it printed and bound. I will also be going home via the shopping centre that dare not speak its name, and buying the next Code Geass DVD, if I can ( Read more... )

(21sts are not that significant, most things are 18 or 19. But it does mean I may be able to take a class at uni next semester, and that is exciting! :D)

Thank you! And yes, it is a lot of words. It ended up being 13,662 words, which is about halfway between the minimum and maximum allowed. It would have been at least 14,000 if I hadn't had to chop of stuff cos I couldn't find the references. But, ttly my own fault.

Thank you! I wrote about a newspaper from the Reign of Terror in the French Revolution, talking about the historical references and ideological conflicts and what-have-you in the third issue of it. If you're interested it was Camille Desmoulins' Le Vieux Cordelier.

Oooh that sounds interesting! It always impresses me, the topics people come up with for their thesis. If I ever decide to go to grad school and have to write one I have no idea what I'd do haha.

My great-aunt lived to 103, I only met her once but she seemed like a pretty cool lady. I cannot ever imagine myself living to be 100, it will be the year 2088! We might at least have jet-packs by then though...
