Lois got in an accident a few days ago. She's alive, she's alive, but then she's in a coma.

Clark has been sitting there for quite a while. I'm beginning to get worried. He refuses to leave her room. Poor guy.

I went to visit her a couple of times but... it's sort of hard to see her like that. I mean, really. It's unreal. :/

A yellow envelope arrives in Cat's mailbox. When she opens it, it's a note card monogrammed LL. It reads:

Dear Cat,
Thanks for sending flowers and visiting me in the hospital. It means a lot to me that you came. (Don't tell anybody I told you that... our reputations!)
It's good to be me again! Sorry you had to put up with "Wanda."

Cat picks up the phone as soon as she finishes reading the card.

She hesitates for a moment but dials. She taps her foot nervously when she hears it ring.
