yeah what the fuck does indie even mean? i remember getting into an argument with someone a few years ago because she said she liked indie music. but none of the bands she liked were from 'independent' labels.. which.. i presume 'indie' comes from. so i told her.. that's not indie.. and she said.. 'it's a state of mind'.. yeah whatever.

don't worry. these indie people will age just as you and i. they will have loads of fun and smoke and get drunk every night and be so cool in their 20's.. but imagine being like 38 and getting drunk and hanging out at sleazies and going to clubs? SAAAD. they'd be like that mad dancing guy at winchester who dances with one hand in his pocket. they'll get old, they won't be cool anymore and they won't know how to deal with it.. it's how life goes. i was never popular in high school but now all the 'popular' girls have kids or drug problems or both!. so there u go. an essay.

i wasnt popular or unpopular in high school, i was just basically non-existant some days and awesome the next. but when i ran for junior class vice-president and won there was this whole debate on whether or not i bribed the nuns to win the election because i wasnt as cool as the smoker/drop top impala girl/blows guys after school/my opponent, chelise.
