dude, thank you for thisd post. that is except of course for the 'now' picture of corey haim. it has made me sink into a deep depression but i am hoping to bounce back.
how fucking wierd wasa the whole outer space show whatever it was called with evie? her mom had sex with an alien! haha. they dont make shows like that anymore which is obviously awful.

i know. how i loved him so!! apparently "chunck" from goonies is now an entertainment lawyer in los angeles. he is no longer "chunk"

OUT OF THIS WORLD was the name of the show. it was fucking amazing.
stupendous! uncle beano. remember him? yes, the setting was Carmel where clint eastwood was mayor of at the time. i loved how she'd talk to her dad via a crystal cube! it was just fantastic!

i have no idea why the hell they have amazing tv anymore.
someone needs to put all these shows on dvd. i would seriously never leave my house again. ever.

glad you made it across the ocean okay. i was thinking about your flight yesterday and was all worried about cramped Air France seating but yeah glad you're home.

see ya at the end of the month primero dios!

xx

Ok I'm officially considering the best post ever! I just went through all of these screaming out the names and characters in excitement as my British counterpart looked at me in confusion. I was just mentioning how I'd love to be able to freeze time like Evie Garland last night too haha.

Wouldn't it be so great if they put the first few or best few episodes on a dvd somewhere? I miss these shows :(

these sitcoms seriously made me so happy when i was growing up. that sounds really corny but it's true. i think i just lived vicariously through the typical suburban nuclear american family as i had gone through my parent's divorce and the whole "latchkey kid" phenomenon happening in the 80s.

they were honestly such great shows, so moral, "do the right thing" but not crammed down your throat. seriously what happened to good sitcoms? these were brilliant.

if anyone would put even one of these shows on dvd i'd probably fork over top dollar. or pound. whateva! and yeah, never leave the house. i just wouldnt have to...
