Today, among other schoolish things, I visited the Portland Classical Chinese Garden with my Qigong class. It was seriously cool. I liked having a guided tour. Having many of the elements explained and discussed helped me get more out of it, I think, than just walking around and thinking, "Hmmm, pretty." Maybe the three of us can go when you're here for Thanksgiving . . . if your family can bear to part with you during the day. :p(They're not open at night.)

Chinese Garden?
I've been to the Japanese garden...which is beautiful...hmmm
where is this Chinese Garden of which you speak?

The Chinese Garden in downtown, encompassing one city block, and the entrance is on NW 3rd and Everett.
