I just left the same reply on another post: Chronologically, Spock came second for me, but became a much bigger obsession than my first. :D

My first crush (Zorro) was interesting and funny and cool. Spock was not only fascinating, but I also felt a kind of kinship with him, and that made him extra special to me.

Heheh! I was just watching a program about the restoration of the original Enterprise model at the Smithsonian and the Star Trek exhibit at the EMP Museum in Seattle. They talked about how when Star Trek first came out, Leonard Nimoy got tons and tons of fan mail, more than anyone else, even William Shatner. It seems that the character of Spock really resonated deeply for so many people. Especially the ladies hehe :)
