Oh, I loved this! Short and to the point and very lovable! :-) BTW...you have an evil streak don't you? My innocent little brain *only* kept Charlie in cast and sling...you got him a rigid full arm cast! *hahaha* ;D
Chocolate cake...yum...speaks the chocoholic here! :p
...you got him a rigid full arm cast! I felt it was my duty to make poor Charlie as miserable as possible, increasing the need for medicinal chocolate!
SQUEE! Okay, how much did I love this? Well, yes, that was rhetorical. Yes, in fact, I plan on telling you. Lots. I loved it lots.
I loved that Charlie didn't want to be around Larry all the time because he felt *unattractive*! And I really, really (can't tell you how much I) loved Larry's line about raising spirits and/or sucking helium. It was such a random Larry thing to say, after the normal spirit-raising greeting.
I wrote this pretty late last night and after 2 beers tried chaneling Larry's unique mix of practicality and god-knows-what. I'm glad you liked it! Still not sure if his comments about "raising" and "sucking" were completely innocent or aimed at Charlie's subconscious.... *eg*
I agree with the review above; Larry's raising spirits line was very on. :) And I liked all the agents coming to see him, even if it does mean that Colby has to be included. :P
Very sweet little slice of life fic... and a perfect segue to some more L/C slash. *cough*hinthint*cough*
Larry's raising spirits line was very on. Well, you know how Larry hates unwarranted assumptions. And I think the little boy in him wanted to get at that helium himself! (Can't you see him and Charlie playing w. balloons in the broom closet? "Charles, a chemistry experiment?" *Ahem*)
...even if it does mean that Colby has to be included. :P Colby seems to like taking in the chaos of Charlie's office, and hey, there was cake (and gumballs)! It's also way safer to keep him with the group than leave him by himself. ;)
...and a perfect segue to some more L/C slash. I'd love to write more L/C, but as a beginning writer I'm taking it slowly. Next time, I might actually add some dialog! *g* Working on a couple of drabbles, and I do have a strange penchant for whacky poetry.... Goddess help us all!
Yay! Happy fic! Charlie's frustration was very real, and I can see Larry approaching the problem in such a roundabout way. Lovely!! Can I add a request for some L/Ch from you? *bg*
I'm so honored that you'd ask! I read your stuff all the time! As a new writer I'm kinda taking baby steps, but I plan to write lots of L/C. They're so cute and smart and funny.... *squeezes the boys*
Oh, I think I may have missed a protocol thing. *blushing* Did you want to request something in *particular* for L/C? If so, I'll be happy to give them a whirl!
hee! LJ is a different world, isn't it? But no -- no protocol thing at all, at least as far as I'm concerned. *g* I'd just love to see what you do with them. *hugs*
(My problem now that I've been on lj? I don't remember how the lists work anymore -- at what point do you go off list? I freak thinking that everyone's reading my comments. *bg*)

So, again, squee!

There's no way Larry's voice could possibly get any higher. *g*
