Hi!
My internet conn's been down about a week. Bleah. Good to be up and running again.

I've been meaning to ask, are Elise and Shea the same person? Is one name preferred over the other?

My BS (uh huh) is psych w. a minor in philosophy/religion. Of course, that was from waaaaay back in the day. Started in 76 and took 15 yrs to complete. LOL

Unitarianism rocks; I love a religion that doesn't tell you what to think but supports the individual's right to explore her/his own truth. Our little church (<200) is a tight, mutually supporting community.

I hope you're enjoying anthropology. My husband is a retired cultural anthropologist, specializing in political anthro. and in globalization. He's now writing a book about the Cheyenne wars (including the Sand Creek massacre).

Oh, forgot about the animals. We've got a collie, a pug mix who belonged to my parents, 2 adult cats and a 10 wk old kitten. Quite a household! They all sort of tolerate one another, and the collie and one of the cats (semi-feral) seem to actually be friends when we're not looking. If you call running, barking, screaming and slashing of claws friendship (since they go at it round after round, esp. while we're trying to watch TV).

We had many indoor bunnies over a several year period. They're a real trip! Cute and fun, as long as you don't mind your house being chewed down around your ears....

I like your icon, too. I'm a horse nut from way back and had a gray Arabian mare for several years. As to current animals, we have 2 dogs (collie and pug mix) and 3 cats. Our vacuum cleaner gets a good work out!

Saw the UU site on your page. Looks pretty good. We're members of a small society (around 200) in Grand Junction, CO, which is pretty politically conservative. If there's any type of political/ecological/religious forum/protest going on, many of the participants are probably members or our church. It's fun to watch the news and go, "Oh, there's Eric!"

I'm planning to post a Numb3rs drabble challenge within the next few days in at least Numb3rs_Slash and numb3rs_fic. Haven't done anything like that, so I've got to figure out how to do it....

Welcome back to the US, for however long.
