amanda had known in her gut for awhile that sanctuary wouldn't be renewed, and her first thought upon hearing the official news was that she wouldn't be able to see robin every day. she probably should have thought other things, but no, all her mind kept repeating was how she wouldn't have that excuse anymore. she went out on the porch and called him that night and she said something like 'i'm going to miss it' but they both knew what she really meant, because no sanctuary really means no more robin and amanda.

amanda should feel like this is a chance for her to start acting more responsible but instead she feels like something was taken from her prematurely.

saaaaaaaaaaaam reads young adult fantasy fiction when she wants to numb her mind and stop thinking so hard. which is basically never. but sometimes.

i see what you did here. one day when sam was feeling especially crazy and frustrated, teal'c taught her how to sit still and exist within the space between her thoughts. it was really hard for her to concentrate at first, and teal'c had to take her hand and rub circles into it with his thumbs before she would settle down. once in awhile during late nights at the base he will sit and perform his kel'no'reem, and she will meditate nearby. and once in awhile, she will reach for his hand. he doesn't seem to mind.

LATE I'M SORRY BUT ALRIGHT ALRIGHT here this is just all random feelingsvomit basically and it's longer to make up for the late (???).

after the conversation by the fire during the nubbins debacle, will went back to his room and got himself off not quite thinking about helen magnus, but letting thoughts of her and how her eyes had dilated when she looked at him skirt at the edges of his consciousness. this is how will had to approach that attraction for a long time. helen was more honest with herself about her attraction to will from the beginning, but as time went by and especially after ashley, she began to realize that it wasn't a simple attraction or a mindless, occasional flirtation anymore and she recanted everything she'd admitted to herself. that's when it started to feel dangerous and maybe a little like a liability and she had to try to draw a line down the middle of their relationship. but even so, in the immediate aftermath of ashley's death and a few times since, helen has had moments where she wanted will closer to her
