For most intents and purposes, I've decided to abandon my livejournal as a writing medium. This probably doesn't come as a big surprise, since I've hardly used this thing in ages. This has been a long time coming and makes perfect sense for you professionally, but it is a bit of a shame, not just for sentimental reasons but also because livejournal is so much better designed for threaded community discussion and user interaction than other blogging systems.
