it's funny, how some things are considered to be so beautiful in certain parts of the world or time periods, but in other places or decades the same exact things are seen as much less attractive, and in some cases they can even be considered ugly and socially unacceptable.

that woman from asia. do you think that's considered attractive there? You're so right about diffrent cultures perceptions of beauty. like, leonardo and Barton woulden't be half as "attractive" if they were a little fatter or had a big lip plug in their lip.

i know that in one place stretched earlobes are seen as a sign of wisdom, and it can also be something that's religious. but um. i believe that in lots of places in asia many women just did it for decoration, so i guess that it is considered attractive!
