Yes, a massive weight, and he's still, not surprisingly, carrying on with the shenanigans. I agree, the next couple of months will be a trial - so much opportunity for him to do damage. He's already begun, as I'm sure you know, with the firings. It's not like there was much competence in his administration, but he'll certainly do his best to get rid of anyone who remains who might be able to do some good, or at least not cause more destruction.
Thanks for the good wishes on my writing! I'm looking forward to get back into the swing of it. Oddly enough, just yesterday, while sorting through a box of old papers, I found 15 pages of an AU K/S story that I started back in the 80s. I haven't reread it, but I've set it aside to look at later on.
Are you doing any writing these days? BTW, I always enjoy reading your book reviews, though I haven't had a lot of time to comment lately.
