Is there a limit to how long officers have to file a ticket anyway?

For those of you who know about the school bus that I DIDN'T PASS, they convicted me anyway. After I moved out of the dorm I moved into Wes' house, basically because I didn't have anywhere else to go. It was a little nerve wracking, but so far its going really well.
