maybe make some changes to cut the parallelism on painted and blood. I know why you repeated those words, but months later I'm over it.

And change the yoke flap bit to:
"Sailor shirt yokes hopelessly flap
In surrender."

Could use some general fleshing out, needs smells and scraps of random images to fit the "flotsam" sight.
