It's been a while. I'm not even sure if anyone I knew is still here, but...

anyone care to fill me in on what's happened since I've gone missing?

I should have gotten that note about staying away from water sooner.

Sorry to everyone who worried when I up and vanished. I didn't exactly have a choice when I was taken out of the apartment by force.

But I'm back now, and I hope I didn't miss too much. I've already had to give up my life back home and don't really want to have to do that here too.

Getting to sleep in today was nice. Having waffles this morning was nice. Things that happened last night were nice.

Things are finally getting back on track. It's too bad I'm supposed to work the night shift again tonight. I might call out of that one, too.

I found a pretty decent job, and a new apartment. It's in Center-City instead of Cordova, but without my dad here it's pointless to stay in some place that's really out of my league.

Hina and Luke, I made sure there was enough room for the three of us in the new place. If Luke's even still here, that is.

I wonder if things like this happen for a reason. They have to, right?

Maybe this is God's way of trying to tell me something, although I'm not really sure what that is.

[Have an 18 month old Claire toddling around the sidewalk by herself. She's sucking on a pacifier, and is making grabby hands to be picked up by anyone that passes her by. Things have been so slow the past week. It's not a bad thing, it just feels like the calm before the storm.

I wonder if my mom and brother would visit if I called and sounded pathetic enough. I could really use some mom time right now.
