I couldn't believe how lovely he was because I always feel like I'm bothering them if you go and meet them after they've been perfoming for 3 hours!
And about the songs you've been watching on youtube have you managed to see any with JOJ in them? There's quite a few really good quality clips of him as Jean Valjean when he played for the first time at the Palace Theatre!
