I am currently watching the season 2 premiere of "Everybody Hates Chris".

I haven't watched the episode, and I'm not going to until it airs on television.

Now that I've simmered down from the hype... I kinda want to put it on hold and see how far I can go without watching it. My own form of abstaining, like in "40 Days 40 Nights".

Nah, I highly doubt I'd push through with it. But I did entertain the thought.

I am with you and we are cooler than everyone else.

Well, I mean, I think it's a little sad and loser-y to watch the ep early, but I cast no real judgments. I am perplexed by people who engage in spoilers for shows that are well-written and are supposed to develop (e.g. VM). When they do so, they only ruin it for themselves. The show is premised on the viewer watching things slowly unfold, and it generally won't work otherwise.

I agree with this in essence and I would follow it had I lived in an ideal world. But now that I have the tools to get info, I enjoy having the options. Because it's the interviews and production stuff interest me. The trick in dealing with advance info is not to get the spec mode on overdrive.
