57. Mother

And when I dance for him, somebody leave the light on.

Viggo/Orlando, PG-13, 500 words

Viggo's not entirely sure how it happened, but somehow the Hobbits, with the help of Bean, have managed to convince him to join them at their favorite pub. It's a ratty little place off the beaten path, and Viggo probably wouldn't have even found the place if not for Elijah's very explicit directions. But find it he does and, after struggling for a parking place for the better part of ten minutes, he walks into the pub at a quarter past ten.

The music is already blaring. Elijah is in the DJ booth. Dom and Billy are on the dance floor, Dom dancing just as spastically as always, while Billy looks on, cackling. In a corner booth, Orlando and Bean look as though they're engrossed in a debate of some kind.

Viggo makes his way over to the booth and greets them both. Orlando winks at Bean and then climbs out, giving his seat up to Viggo while he goes to fetch drinks. Viggo slides into the seat across from Sean.

"What was that about?" he asks, gesturing behind him, in the general direction of Orlando.

"What?" Sean asks. "Oh, him? Nothing. Lad just wanted a bit of advice." Bean laughs, but refuses to elaborate.

The music changes. First, there's just bass, so loud that the booth under Viggo vibrates with the rhythm. Then a low guitar melody kicks in, repeating itself every few bars. Viggo shoots Sean a glare.

"Why did I agree to this? I can feel my headache starting already."

But Sean is preoccupied with something behind Viggo. Vig snaps his fingers in front of Bean's face a couple of times, but the Brit swats his hand away and continues to stare. Viggo turns around.

Orlando has joined the dancers out on the floor. He's dancing with Dom. More accurately, he's grinding against Dom, bumping up against him so that his crotch makes contact with Dom's ass every few beats. Billy is watching them, a small smile on his face and a beer in his hand. Orlando slides his hands up to rest on Dom's hips, and they sway together in time with the music.

Then Dom turns to face Orlando, wedging one of his legs between Orlando's. They grind against each other, and Viggo watches a bead of sweat make its way down Orlando's neck.

Before the song is even halfway over, Billy grabs Dom by the elbow and whispers something in his ear. Dom turns and winks at Viggo and then the two of them make their way toward the bathroom, leaving Orlando alone on the dance floor. He doesn't even seem to notice Dom's absence, though, because he's staring right at Viggo and running his hands over his chest.

The music pumps louder, the tempo increasing, and Orlando holds Viggo's stare as he turns his hips and spins, more graceful than Viggo has ever seen him. Finally, Viggo blinks, and when he opens his eyes, Orlando's are closed as he sways back and forth.

58. Mother Revolution

You could have had me right there beside you.

Billy/Elijah, PG, 500 words

Dom fell in love with Billy on the first day they met. Billy and Orlando arrived together at Peter's house, both a little bit tipsy, and Billy greeted Dom with a huge hug, and Dom fell.

Dom found Billy irresistible. He loved Billy's little curlicue mouth and the way the corners bowed when he smiled. He loved Billy's accent, and the gently receding hairline that he was obviously so self-conscious about. He loved Billy's ears, how much smaller they were than his own. And Billy's dainty hands, so small that Dom almost couldn't believe how well he played the guitar. Dom even loved Billy's filtrum, the little space between his lip and the tip of his nose.

Unfortunately, Elijah loved all of those things as well. Not that Dom could blame him. Who wouldn't fall for Billy? Well, with the exception of Orlando and Viggo, who were too entwined in each other's lives to even notice anything else going on around them.

At first, Dom fought for Billy. Anything Elijah did to win his affection, Dom did bigger and better. Elijah bought him a beer? Dom bought him an entire case. Elijah planned movie nights? Dom took Billy to the movies and bought him a tub of popcorn.

But somewhere along the way, Dom lost. Billy fell in love with Elijah. Of course, he tried to hide it from everyone, even Elijah. That was Billy's way, something that Dom loved about him: Billy never wanted to hurt anyone.

When Billy inevitably gave in, Dom took it like a man. Clapped Billy and Elijah on the back and told them it was about damn time. He told them that everyone in the cast had been waiting for them to come to their senses and realize what they'd known all along. Billy's face brightened a bit at that, and he hugged Dom as tightly as he had the first time they'd met.

So Dom was relegated to the edges, the periphery of everything. He was caught somewhere between ViggoandOrlando and BillyandElijah, standing in corners sipping beers with John.

It took time, but Dom eventually fell out of love with Billy. Oh, he still loved him, sure, like the best friend that Billy was. But the more that Dom saw Billy with Elijah, the less he wanted to be part of that. He saw them dance and kiss and fight and make up, and he loved them both like brothers.

And then one day, Billy left Elijah. Dom never knew why, but he had his suspicions. And suddenly, Billy was with Dom all of the time. When Viggo bought a round at the bar, Billy would bring a six-pack to Dom the next day. If he played video games all day with Orlando, Billy would take him to the arcade afterward.

One night, after a party, Billy cornered Dom. "I'm in love with you, Dommie," he confessed, leaning in to kiss Dom on the mouth.

Dom backed away. "I’m sorry, Bills," he answered.

59. Mr. Zebra

With a gigantic whirlpool that will blow your mind.

As gen as seven guys in a hot tub can get, PG, 500 words

Due to a mix up at the production offices, Billy and Dom ended up in a house with a Jacuzzi. "All the better for skinny-dipping!" Dom exclaimed, much to Billy's dismay.

The thing was huge, big enough to fit the entire Fellowship, which was perfect, according to Dom. He invited all of them for some "cast bonding time, swimsuits optional." When Billy protested, less than eager to host a tub full of men in his backyard, Dom pointed out that there was no better way to introduce their new Aragorn to Middle Earth. Billy's argument that they didn't have Jacuzzi's in Middle Earth went unheard by Dom.

With the exception of John and Ian, everyone accepted. Astin, Elwood, and Bean showed up with swimsuits. Orlando and, to Dom's surprise, Viggo, did not.

They ate barbeque, prepared by Dom with a watchful eye from Astin. They drank beer, Guinness for everyone except Elijah, who still preferred Budweiser or, as Dom called it, "that watered-down American swill."

When they'd all had their fill, Dom took it upon himself to announce that it was hot tub time. Billy cringed and tried to sneak to his bedroom, but Dom threw him a pair of swim trunks and insisted that he change, in the bathroom if he was that shy.

When Billy emerged from the house, everyone was in the Jacuzzi. Billy was grateful for the bubbles that obscured certain anatomical bits. He bit his lip and climbed inside, careful not to make contact of any kind with anyone.

"So..." Dom started, once Billy had tucked himself into a corner. "How about truth or dare?"

"What, are you twelve?" Elijah protested, taking a swig from the bottle he'd brought in with him.

"That would still make me older than you," Dom answered, winking at the youngest Hobbit. "I'll start." Billy cringed as Dom peered around the whirlpool. "Orlando!" he shouted, and Billy breathed a sigh of relief. Orlando sat up a little straighter, and Dom asked, "Truth or dare?"

Orlando chuckled and sipped at his own beer. "Truth."

"Ninny," Dom muttered. "Okay. Top or bottom?"

Orlando sputtered and dribbled a little bit of beer down his chin. He coughed, and Viggo leaned over and patted him on the back. When he recovered, Orlando shot Dom a glare and muttered, "Bottom."

Dom clapped his hands and squealed. "I knew it!" he yelled. "Your turn."

Orlando wiped his mouth sheepishly and glanced around the Jacuzzi. "Um... Viggo! Truth or dare?"

Viggo laughed. "I'm sitting naked in a tub full of men that I've only known for two days. I don't think there's anywhere for me to go from there, so truth."

Orli bit his lip. "Okay... " he hesitated. "Um... Where are you from, originally?"

Dom groaned and kicked hard Orlando under the water. Viggo chuckled and answered easily. Then he turned his eyes on Billy and grinned so wide that Billy could see most of his teeth.

Billy swiped Elijah's beer and took a long gulp.

60. Mrs. Jesus

Even as I'm climbing up the stairs, I know there's heaven there.

Viggo/Orlando, NC-17, 500 words

A line of lit candles guides the way up the stairs and into the darkness beyond. Viggo shuts the door behind him and kicks off his shoes, and then follows the candles up.

The hallway at the top is dark, but there's a flicker of light emanating from his bedroom. Viggo smiles and slowly pads towards the room, enjoying the scent of gardenia in the air. The bedroom door is cracked, and he pushes it open.

Orlando is naked on the bed, his skin glowing in the myriad of flickering candles. There's a path of rose petals from the door to the bed, and a liberal sprinkling of them on the comforter. Orlando turns his head to look at Viggo, a twinkle in his eye.

"A little clichéd, don't you think?" Viggo jokes, walking delicately into the room, careful not to crush any petals.

"The best clichés are the ones that work," Orlando answers, holding out a hand to Viggo, who climbs up onto the bed and stretches out on his side.

"I've been waiting for this," Viggo whispers, and Orlando reaches up and presses a finger to his lips.

"Let's not talk about time lost," Orlando says. "We're here. That's enough."

Viggo grins and flicks his tongue out, capturing Orlando's finger between his lips. He closes his mouth around the digit and sucks, causing Orlando's eyes to shut. He makes a contented noise and leans forward to plant tiny kisses along Viggo's jaw. Viggo releases Orlando's fingers and pulls his head up, their lips finally connecting. Orlando's mouth opens slowly, and Viggo explores, running his tongue over Orlando's lips and the backs of his teeth. Orlando responds by reaching up and carefully unbuttoning Viggo's shirt, running his hands absently over the fine dusting of hair.

When they break apart, Viggo is breathless. Orlando nudges him up, just enough to slide the shirt off his shoulders. It lands in a heap on the floor, and they kiss again as Orlando's nimble fingers go to work at the top button on Viggo's jeans. Orlando slides his zipper down, and Viggo raises his hips and lets Orlando work his jeans down and off. He's as naked as Orlando. When the younger man presses Viggo over onto his back and begins kissing a warm trail down his collarbone, Viggo buries a gentle hand in Orlando's Mohawk.

Orlando works his way down Viggo's body, sucking at his nipples before dipping down to his bellybutton and swirling his tongue around it. He moves lower on the bed and straddles Viggo's calves, leaning forward to place tiny nips on his thighs. Viggo sighs contentedly and closes his eyes when he feels Orlando's breath on his cock.

"Viggo? Wake up, man." Someone is shaking him by the shoulder. Viggo opens his eyes and finds himself in Orlando's car, idling in front of his own house. "We're here," Orlando finishes.

Viggo looks out the window at his unlit house, and then back at Orlando. "That's enough," he murmurs.
