I'd write more, but I am l'tired. In sum, I am most likely quitting my job today. I don't exactly like the idea since I don't have a fallback job, but I can't take it anymore; my boss is acting like my ex-boyfriend right before he dumped me, ironically, around this same time to boot. Sitting there at Lily's graduation, a lot of thoughts were going through my mind. Approaching it, the world felt a little unreal, what with a man floating inside of a bubble and all the cameras and lights around; these graduates had spent years doing things for this recognition, and yet he spends a few days submerged in water and that garners more ( Read more... ) -

Close enough. I'll edit it in the morning, but it's ten pages. Whee. Bed and sleep. Hopefully my boss e-mails me back and says that I don't have to go into work today, although it means a 9~10AM start time on Tuesday. But such as it is. Today's going to be a long day, methinks. -
Procrastinating for the Last Time This Semester.
It's been a long time since I've struggled with material to fill the page lengths. Just hit page eight and I could write the conclusion if it weren't for the fact that this thing is supposed to be ten pages. I somehow doubt that two pages of conclusion would be a good plan. I just realised that I've already spent more time procrastinating on this paper than I will spend writing it. I really should do something about that, but hey, at least I've got three sentences I didn't have before.... -

Becuase I have nothing better to do at this point. No one has updated their websites to help me procrastinate (bah and I need to stay off of e-bay....) and given that my roomie will be asleep until 2AM, upon which she and her boyfriend are leaving, I will have uninterrupted silence to compose these ten pages that I have already outlined and picked ( Read more... ) -

I think it's a bad sign that I'm procrastinating on a paper because I know once it's done, I'm done. I just don't want to admit that this semester is coming to a close, I guess. Bah. But hey, at least I've done all the readings and figured out what quotes I'm going to use....If I fail to finish it here, I can always work on it at work on Monday ( Read more... ) -

...wow, that was really painless. I'm pleased. Now I just need to finish up the works cited page, print it, and drop it off in the morning. Excellent. Now for some sleep? If I'm lucky? -

I should write papers more often when I'm in this state of misty mind. Less than half an hour and I'm almost on page four. Guess I'm doing this after all.
