Hi from above Atlanta. I am currently flying with Josh to Oklahoma to visit his family and retrieve his truck.
So I'm going to attempt an update via iPhone so bear with me.

I got divorced in January of 09. I separated from Chad in March of 08. Why the long time between the two? We weren't trying to work it out, I obviously gave up on that awhile ( Read more... )

Jeremy and I separated in August 2006 (a year before our divorce) We thought because we were married in NC and still residents of NC we had to wait the NC-mandated year of separation before divorce and file there. We found out later since we had been in Louisiana as military residents we only had to be separated for 6 months but by then he was deployed to Afghanistan and I didn't want to do proceedings without him ...we married together we were going to divorce together. I didn't want to be the wife that divorces her husband while he's deployed I don't care if it was mutual you know?

So, I did what you did. I stayed in housing and whatnot. Sent out care packages of what he needed ...so on. When he returned we then got divorce in July 07.
