So I wandered around Budapest, saw Parliament, stumbled upon the Citadella by accident, got lost, mostly.

I've still got 30,000 Forint($145 USD) and no towel.

I guess Fethr's getting some free money when I get home, since she's gonna be back here at some point, and I don't feel like converting it back since it'd just be wasting some of it's value.

I wish I knew where I could buy a towel, I want one so bad, it would make my life here in Europe complete.

I leave for Vienna tomorrow, I really hope the weather is better, and that there's an easy to find Hostel close by, and that it's easy to find the Zoo..

Budapest is beautiful, much in the same way that your grandmother's grandmother's house is beautiful. Unfortunately, also much like your grandma's grandma's crib, nobody has done any work on any of it since she owned it. It's got a weird sort of .. rustic charm I guess? Emphasis on the rust.

It's been okay here, but the layout of the city is whack, and it's really easy to get lost. The buildings are all so tall you can't see any landmarks until you get up someplace high or find the river, which it took me about 3 hours to get to even though it's really only about 10 minutes away from the Hostel. Granted, I did purposely go in the wrong direction to go see a park before I went there, but it shouldn't have been as difficult as it was.

I'm a total buffoon.. I accidentally told some woman who spoke english with a very thick accent that 'I'm sorry, I only speak english' .. I was very embarrassed and she was quite pissed.

I want to come home.

As the Australian guys I met pointed out, it's very easy to get discouraged and deem the entire trip utter failure and vow eternal hatred for somewhere, as I do for Hungary at the moment, but I guess later on I'll look back on it and laugh.

Where the hell do I buy a towel?

I want a towel, I want to be at home with a towel, I want to be at home with a towel and a bathroom that I can find and don't have to pay for, I want to be at home with a towel and a bathroom that I can find and don't have to pay for and my computer which is also free, I want to be at home with a towel and a bathroom that I can find and don't have to pay for and my computer which is also free and familiar surroundings and a currency I understand and places to buy things where I know if I'm getting ripped off or not and places I know that I won't be ripped off at.

Europe is great, but I'm tired of it.
