I think I can safely say that grad school ate my free time. The first two weeks of this quarter have made me stress monkey with no time so my gym time has suffered.
Food: After the comments the PT made I went and very carefully logged the diet I had described to her (my 'good day' diet). Maybe you can help me, oh land of LJ, but I think the numbers worked out fairly well with no clear protein deficit. 1,982 calories, 57.5 g Fat, 242.5 g Carbs, 126.3 g Protein. I should probably go back to logging food but that is such a pain in the ass. I've been eating too many sweets this week and know I should cut that out. But when someone brings $4 cupcakes into the lab and, and... well it gets hard.
Gym time: These past two weeks have been made of fail as far as getting into the gym goes. I'm really enjoying the swimming and have been practicing flip turns at the end of my swims. Now that I have a feel for how far I swim I've stopped counting laps (will probably try to count again once a month or so but it's much more fun to just swim and not count!).
Week of 3/22: 4 times -> 2h50m
Week of 3/29: 2 times -> 2h10m
week of 4/5: 3 times -> 2h55m
Results: Looking at my weight has been sad. For the past 4 Saturday weigh-in's I've been 180. While I'm pleased that last week hasn't lost me any ground it is rather sad that I haven't really been able to get below 180. I am however seeing small increases, in the wrong direction, in my girth measurements. Not enough to really be more then noise but should probably be noted. Might be where my twizzlers, cupcakes and cookies have been going.
Goal: I'm going to really push for getting in 4 times this week and try to be good about my diet. If I'm still not seeing a weight or girth loss after 2 weeks of being 'good' and going to the gym then I'll start logging food again *grumble*.
