My thought was: If you've just driven through (or had a layover in the airport) it doesn't count .. unless you spent the night or had a significant experience (that became a travel memory, ie eating my only Philly Cheese Steak ever in the Philly train station) there. :) That's also why my map looks kinda spotty ... some places I visited on road trips (to Georgia, N.Carolina, etc) fell into the memorable category, others did not. All I remember about West Virginia is that it has mountains.

Whoa, I just realized that I don't think I counted Virginia, but I totally went there for, like, 5 days with choir sophomore year. lol.
