I feel kind of like a new person today. I hope it stays like this.
I think it may be because of these things from my day: yoga, meditation and a really good counseling session. Counseling felt truly productive, for once. I was speaking really openly
(and feeling comfortable doing it) and my counselor was providing great input, which frustratingly I couldn't seem to get before (I'd been seeing him for 3 months). So like, I'm actually setting some guidelines for improving some big personal issues.
Realization is a really good feeling. Personally, one of the best feelings, and I crave it all the time.
Other things that also felt really nice today:
-acknowledgments from fantastic people
-eating a yummy apple crown pastry after being prompted by the unbelievably delicious smell of muffins baking in the Fishbowl
-going by bus on a grocery shopping adventure and getting deals
-walking home after dark and seeing the beautiful beautiful snow as it fell from the sky, even though I was soaked to the point that my socks and shoes felt like sponges :D
-listening to WISE and m-flo's Beat Space Nine album, played loudly... C:
-listening to di.fm's chillout station while reading Japanese Lit for class ("The Narrow Road of Oku" by Matsuo Basho)
I've kept saying it could only go up from here, but I hardly feel I've lifted myself up much higher. Today, though, I don't feel stagnant.
My instructor said meditation makes you more aware of connectedness. I totally feel that.
