Anyone interested in using my desk/dresser until I return (as early as next Spring or as late as Fall)? It would save me some trouble so I'd really appreciate it.

unrelated -- I have to admit I don't entirely remember all the DDR people from the PNW because it has been a loooong time, but I heard you're moving to Japan (but Akita, which is... far). If you're ever in the Tokyo area and bored, feel free to drop me a line. I was the old chick in the Seattle DDR scene about 5-6 years ago. I'm still old, I still play Pop'n, but I've been living in the butt end of Saitama for the last year and working in Tokyo.

You probably have plenty of people to ask about stuff, but I can try to warn you about things you can and can't get in Japan if it helps (for example, man, I really wish I'd known before coming here how rare it is to find REAL deodorant. Things like that.)

Real deodorant? Wow, lol.

Hey! Yeah I know of you but I don't think we ever met, we might've never even seen each other. (I didn't have in involvement with the Seattle folks for a while into my "career" :P)

Thanks for the offer, I'll let you know if I have any questions. Yeah and a lot of people have made these offers yet I don't seem to ask any questions, haha...

I'm meeting Ryan (Shiguma) in Tokyo on the 21st and 22nd, it's gonna be us and some of my Japanese/American friends and you're welcome to join us (I *do* want to play bemani, so that may be relevant to you :D)

Real deodorant. Seriously. I took a trip back to America in April and I must have gone on at least 4-5 runs to Fred Meyer or Bartell's just to get stuff like... soap... deodorant... medicine... CHAPSTICK... toothpaste... feminine products... I think my suitcase coming back to Japan was like, 30% clothes, 60% stuff from drugstores/supermarkets, 10% souvenirs for people. Also, SHOES. Size 24.5 here is about the largest women's shoes normally come in. I think that's a women's size 8 in US sizes. I wear a 26...

Okay, I know Ryan, I saw him over new year's... Didn't know he was visiting Tokyo, I'll send him a keitai message or something. I'm probly busy the afternoon of the 22nd unless it rains, but I get out of work at 7pm that Saturday night and could meet up somewhere... though I might be too old to hang out with you guys :) I'm kind of assuming you'll be hanging out somewhere in mid-Tokyoish?
