(SF) GDYB Series 51: Someone (PG 13)

thanks for commenting and reading my fics. i've been wandering around to write something. and here i come with something ^0^ i think it's cute but you may not find a lot fo gdyb interaction here. so comments are welcome!
Someone
Youngbae had been practicing for his upcoming solo concert for more than a month now. Lee Ji Eun or IU was one of the guests. She was his big fan and really excited to work with him.
Ji Eun knew and the public knew that one of Youngbae’s goals in 2010 was to find a girlfriend. When she was at YG, she kept her eyes open and her ears wide so that she could get a hint of that “someone”.
However, Youngbae, like people said, was not interested in girls. It was not that he was into guys; he was just wholly into music and nothing else. Ji Eun wondered how he could get anyone by the end of the year. He did not try to flirt with her at all.
The more often Ji Eun practiced with Youngbae, the more she found out that the older singer was actually in love. She was certain that he had already had “someone”.
Ji Eun heard it when Youngbae was on the phone once and he was so sweet and caring. No one could miss the love all over him.
….
Today, Ji Eun noticed that Youngbae made a call too often, actually in every break.
In the first break
“Why do you get up so early?” said Youngbae to someone on the phone, “Get more sleep, you are sick.”
She was sick, Ji Eun got her answer.
In the second break
“Do you have your medicine?” said Youngbae to that someone on the phone, “How about your headache?”
Oppa was so caring, Ji Eun admired him secretly.
In the third break
“Baby, you can’t go to YG today,” said Youngbae to the same person on the phone, “If you don’t rest, how can you feel better? Get back to bed, please.”
Youngbae was seeing someone under the same company? Ji Eun really wanted to know if that “someone” was a singer, a dancer, a producer, a stylist, a makeup artist or a staff?
Finally before Ji Eun left
“If you can’t sleep, then go and watch TV in the living room. Is there anyone with you?” said Youngbae to the very same someone on the phone, “No one? Alright. Take a blanket with you too and don’t forget your dinner and medicine. Baby?”
Ji Eun could not hold back her fangirl’s curiosity anymore, she waited until Youngbae finished his talk and went to say goodbye.
“You are leaving? Thank you very much,” said Youngbae bowing back to the bowing Ji Eun.
“You’re always welcome, oppa,” said Ji Eun. She was wondering if she should ask Youngbae about his “someone” frankly.
“Do you want to say something?” asked Youngbae seeing too quiet Ji Eun.
“I’m afraid if I can say this, oppa,” said Ji Eun.
“Don’t be. Say it,” said Youngbae smiling.
“I don’t intend to eardrop or anything but you know that I’m a big fan and,” said Ji Eun, “I’ll be happy if you finally find a girlfriend.”
Youngbae laughed and shook his head slightly.
“No, I don’t find any,” said Youngbae.
“But I heard,” said Ji Eun, “You have to have a girlfriend and love her a lot!”
Youngbae laughed more loudly this time. This girl was such a fangirl but she was cute.
“I don’t have a girlfriend,” said Youngbae.
“But,” Ji Eun protested.
“But I have someone I really love,” said Youngbae. It was better not to let Ji Eun know the truth. He did not know if he could trust her like other people at the Family.
“Wow, that’s great!” said Ji Eun blushing, “Can I get a hint of who she is?”
“Ummm, the calling melody is my song,” said Youngbae laughing.
“Thank you, oppa,” said Ji Eun pouting, “Many people use your songs as their calling melodies. Me too.”
“See you next week,” said Youngbae smiling and he got back to practice.
….
Ji Eun kept the only hint she had in mind. During the Heroes filming, they called G Dragon and his calling melody was Youngbae’s “I Need a Girl”. Then she just admired the GDYB’s friedship. But that “someone” was still in her head.
….
Youngbae had another practice with Ji Eun. This time they had an audience. It was the first time Ji Eun met Jiyong off stage. He was so handsome and charming that she could not really take her eyes off of him. She got star struck.
“Hi, IU,” Jiyong greet the younger first. She looked nervous but cute like a little sister.
“Hi, oppa,” said Ji Eun. They talked a little and she had to get back to practice. But Ji Eun’s ears were too good.
“You are getting better now,” said a staff.
(Oh, he was sick, Ji Eun thought.)
“What are the other three doing? I haven’t seen them for a while,” said another staff.
“They got a week off before we start practicing for the new album,” said Jiyong teasingly, “They have disappeared I guess”
(Oh, the members were away, Ji Eun thought.)
Ji Eun’s thought would mean nothing if she did not see the way Youngbae talked and played with Jiyong during each break. The way he looked at him was unbelievable. The atmosphere around them was so warm and secure.
Then Ji Eun heard clicks in her head.
Click! Jiyoung seemed to be sick last week.
Click! Jiyoung was alone too.
Click! Jiyong was surely working for YG.
Click! Jiyong’s calling melody was Youngbae’s song. Actually it was their song.
And
Click! Youngbae said he did not have a girlfriend. He had a boyfriend!
Ji Eun blushed badly but she was so proud to finally know who that “someone” was. It’s much greater to be him than any other girls. What a crazy but smart fan girl she was!
