News alert today to recall a number of wet Menu Foods pet food. They make about have of American Dog and Cat foods, including a lot of store brands and Iams and Eukanuba.

If you feed your pet one of these wet foods, stop immediately, as it may lead to quick kidney failure, even in young animals.

Phew! Kitty's brand was on the list, but it wasn't the affected type.

Your list is very incomplete. Those are only the iams products.

We found it interesting, how the high-end foods, and the supermarket store brands are on the same list... Makes you wonder if it is the same stuff in a different (more expensive) bag.

We have some nutro that will be getting tossed, our cats actually ate some food on the list in that timeframe, but they seem ok.

Thanks for the link! I'm glad my kitties snub there noses at anything that isn't Purina. The news article was so sad!
