I too hate joggers worn with business clothes and I dont know why it is so widely accepted - I have had this conversation with many people and everyone agrees - who are these people and why do they think they can get away with it - lilly allen is also not helping this cause by wearing joggers with cocktail dresses. Joggers can be worn jogging, or with 'mowing the lawn' clothes but not cocktail dresses or suits.

I think it is usually about October that you start to hear proper whispers with tickets starting to go on sale around November.

See Lily Allen's jogger offences I can forgive, because that is a conscious style choice and her joggers are brightly coloured and quite clearly never used for actually jogging. I would class her footwear in the Sneaker category.

I could not bare to ruin my outfit with my festy joggers. give me my tight binding toe squishing high heals any day... I enjoy pushing the boundary's with clothes, ie; my orange pleated skirt with purple t-shirt and purple hair ribbon. I enjoy seeing people's "hmmm... that's an interesting outfit" expression

I am not wearing high heals today I am wearing comfy flats.. but at least they are stylish comfy flats...

I must add: I do love my joggers.. I have quite seriously had them since year eight~ they are still going strong! After almost 6years! never have I had a pair of shoes that can withstand the thrashing that I can give them!

However this doesn't mean Im going to wear them anywhere else but the gym.

I will join your crusade

I always think "why don't they just buy a pair of ballet flats or something to wear on the way to work instead?" Then I think "perhaps they have massive feet and can't find ballet flats in their size and they have to make do with men's joggers." Then I try to look at their feet and work out how big they are in relation to mine, then I usually crash into another pedestrian because I wasn't watching where I was going.

See but it's not just women I am referring to.
Both genders are offenders.
This morning at the top of Balmain Tce, I nearly ran over this guy wearing a nice suit, with freaking dirty joggers on his feet.
