Is there anyone out there with a knowledge of German or credible resources (like a dictionary) that can help me with a translation? For some reason the word "Rosenkreuz" came into my mind and I don't remember where it's from. I only know it's a surname, but does it actually make sense as a word by itself? Kreuz = cross, but is the "rosen" a proper

Per my dad: rosen = roses

So it's a noun, not an adjective.
