Sorry I haven't been communicative much. Between work, and trying to start a business, and roleplaying, and awesome internet TV, and exhaustion... I've had very little time for letting all ya'll know how I've been going

I am tired but very proud. Ohboyohboy, if Kev meets those promises from his victory speech... Australia will be so unbearably awesome other countries will fall over in awe.
I also GotUp in Moreton, at Runcorn Heights - did a double shift, 8-11 and 2-6. I think we did some good work there. The final swing (on 2PP) at the booth we covered was a smidge over THIRTEEN PERCENT! Whee! I think I personally went through a full box of pencils and at least five hundred flyers. I was also moved along by an AEC official who couldn't tell the difference between six metres and one hundred and fifty metres, but that's another story. No climbing gerania, but lots of sausages on bread, and I was rained on... three times, I think. My feets hurt.
The flyers were a hit with pretty much everybody except the John Howard Fan Club, and that crazy German guy in the "Hawaii" basecall cap who was determined to vote for One Nation, even though they didn't have a candidate.
Hey, were your pencils all white? Just that one of my boxes had a single red pencil in it. I've kept it as a souvenir.
I was talking to one of my co-volunteers yesterday and saying that even if there was no real change, I wouldn't feel the weary despair of last time, when I did nothing but vote and hope. This time I did something, dammit! And it was great.
Also: thanks for email. I have been super-duper slack in replying, but will try to implement your excellent suggestion. Probably next weekend. How's chat possibility for the week ahead?
