Oh my, aren’t we a rambunctious bunch this week. I suppose in light of recent developments I should make more use of this journal, if nothing else then to keep an eye on all of you rambunctious students. Well, until I misplace it again at least, which seems to happen with alarming frequency

You should stop and consider other reasons a Professor of Literature would leave mistakes in a post to his students.
