That's true about the smilies. I remember when I first hit Imly I found the smilies annoying and had to work at using them. But they did seem to cut down on misunderstandings, as the mods had claimed, and now I miss them on boards that don't offer them. Does this mean I'm flexible, or just easily influenced? Never mind.
