Help!

My phone has decided to predict French instead of English. No problem for me, but considering that none of the people I text frequently understand the language it is making life a little frustrating.

Can anyone tell me how I made it happen and, more importantly, how do I make it unhappen?

Ah, zut alors! You probably didn't make it happen. IT doesn't always behave consistently. Don't ask why, it just doesn't.

Speaking from my position of authority as a virtual non-user of mobile phones, I can only imagine there's something in Settings that offers a choice of language.

Failing that, you'll just have to text in French. I can tell you how to put the cedilla in français, but suspect you already know and were just being lazy. ;P

Yes: I've read your recent post on the topic :o)

Some kind bookcrossers have sorted it out for me, so all is back to normal.

I know the keyboard combinations to put accents and the like on in Word (and I don't mean typing in a number) but not in g-mail, so I confess I haven't even tried here. So go on, enlighten me.

(Just be aware that I'm going offline to pay my novel some much-needed attention, so I won't read it until much later!)
