Tapi's Great Adventure
So my parents and I went to São Paulo for five days last week. Needless to say, my little travel companion had to come along!
Behold, for you are about to read...
Tapi's Great Adventure
(For your sanity, I'm posting just a bunch of thumbnails. You can click them if you want to see any of these photos bigger. I figured it might save your connections, too. xD)
Our little adventurer woke up early that morning to come to the airport with us. Poor thing, he's still sleepy!
Tapi: No, I'm up! I'm up!
And so our little adventurer got up and ready to check on the place.
Tapi: Oooh, cool!
Tapi: Mommy, mommy, can we call the others?
No, Tapi, it's time to get on the plane. Come on!
Tapi: Coming!
So Tapi sat down on my purse, as he usually does, and waited patiently for the plane to take off...
Tapi: Are we there yet? Are we? Are we?
... Maybe not so patiently.
Tapi: Come on, I want to fly!
First things first, Tapi. Here, read this. Better to be safe than sorry.
Tapi: Mmkay, mommy...
Tapi: Oh, we're moving!
Tapi: We're going pretty fast, aren't we mommy?
Tapi: OMG LOOK HOW HIGH WE ARE.
Tapi: So... beautiful...
Silly Caterpie, you've seen nothing.
Tapi: OMG OMG OMG LOOK AT ALL THOSE CLOUDS MOMMY OMG LOOK!
Now you have. xD
Soon it was time for us to eat! I was hoping for some nice peanuts, however...
We were surprised with a weird package of those... things. I don't know, it was weird. xD The Broken does not like.
After that, mom wanted to take a bunch of photos of him so we did. xD Most of which I won't be showing because there are SO MANY.
Tapi: I am the king of the plane!
Tapi is well secured. Yush.
We did get some nice candy, though.
Tapi: I love green apple. *-*
We all do, Tapi.
And so we kept flying... more.
AND THEN WE ARRIVED. OMG YAY.
Tapi: It's raining ;o;
Awww D:
So we went to get our luggage.
Say hi to my mom. She's walking in front of Tapi. Hi mom! xD
Tapi takes 'getting the luggage' a bit too seriously.
GET OFF THERE, TAPI.
Tapi: Aww, why?
So we walked down this nice hall...
And went to get a taxi. Tapi got distracted, though.
Tapi: I'm not distracted, I'm guarding the luggage while you get the taxi!
It's a shame it was raining, there was so much to see, and to photograph... And the camera insisted in focusing in either Tapi or the water drops on the car's window. orz
Told you.
We then arrived at the hotel. Tapi and I were guarding the luggage while mom and dad got our room's keys.
See, there they are. Hi mom and dad!
As we walked down the hallway we found out our room is beside... the EVIL room. Oh yeah, baby.
Hmm, creepy.
Tapi: Is that... a bed? *-*
And then you tell me you're not tired. Hmpf.
The day was almost over, so we went to the mall.
Go on, Tapi. Tell us, what do you want to eat?
Tapi: *-*
Pizza? Oh, okay.
Tapi: Yum yum!
Best. Tangerine. Juice. Ever.
Or almost.
DAD. NO. HE'S A MINOR.
Jeez.

Tapi: Teehee~
Oh great, now he's drunk.
Here, Tapi, THIS is what is good for you.
Tapi: Mmkay~
There were some crayons on the table, so Tapi put his artistic skills to use.
We went back to the hotel and got some sleep.
The next morning~
Tapi: Yay, breakfast! *-*
Here, buddy, eat.
Tapi: Yay!
Grape too? Okay.
Tapi: Yay it's a train!
No Tapi, it's where the salt was. Get off.
NOW we're gonna see the train. Metro, here we come!
Tapi: Ooooh *-*
Tapi: Yay metro!
Then we had to switch trains.
And then we got off at... Liberdade!
Tapi: Yaaay, liberdade!
No, Tapi, you were already free. It's a neighbourhood called Liberdade.
Tapi: ... Oh.
(Liberdade = freedom in Portuguese xD)
Tapi: Hmm, mommy... I don't understand any of these magazines...
How come? You came from Japan yourself!
Tapi: But...
Tapi: Why, why is it raining? D:
WHERE IS TAPI? WHERE? WHERE?
There he is!
... This is at the mall where we had lunch. xD
Tapi: Weee!
Tapi: Pretty place!
Tapi: Eep! We're high again!
And so Tapi, mom, dad and I went back home... With a lot of new things. xD
The loot! Or some of it. Some stuff was packed up so I couldn't get it out for a photo.
I figured this part would interest the comm more.
POKEYMANS.
Tapi got tired and decided to sleep for a bit before we went to have dinner.
(Really, I went to the bathroom to wash my face and when I came back, mom had done this. So cute xD)
So at the restaurant...
Tapi, what would you like to eat?
Tapi: *-*
Yeah, I like baked potatoes too.
TAPI LOOKING AT TAPI? TIME PARADOX.
Tapi, pick your dessert.
Tapi: But...
Tapi: It all looks so...
Tapi: GOOD! ;O;
The day after that we found ourselves forced to leave the cammera at the hotel. Because we went to get our US Visa renewed and those guys are total jerks and won't let you in if you have anything eletronic. Instead of having a place for you to put them. THEY DIDN'T LET ME IN WITH MY POKEWALKER, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE.
The hotel was too far from there so we couldn't go back to get it later. Photo-less day. D:
The NEXT day...
Metro again. Look, this part of the way we go above the surface!
Tapi: Cool!
So we got off...
It was a pretty cool station ^^
Once we got out, we took a taxi to AnimeFriends.
Tapi: Wait, but I don't see anyth...
Tapi: Oh.
We had to walk for a bit to finally understand how the place worked, haha. Very confusing and easy to get lost in.
I bought a little sign (as I lost my old one xD) and Tapi and I got to make a little poll...
As you can see, many people love Caterpies. Two don't, and some are really lame and added an option called "some things you don't talk about". Pff, as if.
When we got home, dad surprised us with...
CORN.
Omg so good.
Eat well, Tapi!
We went to yet another mall. o.o
And my mom got us a cow from the ice cream shop. o.O Go figure.
Now check this out. Stairs on stairs that are near other stairs. Epic.
Back in the hotel (next day)... I hadn't seen this yet! So cool, we usually don't have fire escapes here, haha.
Then we went to this mall (ANOTHER ONE. ARGH) and there were cool sculptures.
Made with the coolest stuff.
The place was pretty, too~
Whoa, Tapi! Watch out, don't you fall down there!
Tapi: ;~;
Then we had strawberries covered in chocolate. SO. VERY. GOOD.
Tapi: Yum yum! *-*
Hmm, so there was a cover of some korean band on the con. Or something.
I didn't take any other photos with Tapi on the con, sorry. ^^;
So we did all sorts of cool stuff and I bought 17 Slayers manga for R$3,00 each. That's... VERY cheap. xD
Then we went to have dinner... And apparently the chef at that restaurant is on the mafia or something. xDDD
WHERE IS TAPI? Again.
There he is.
Damn those creepy hotel hallways.
The next day we went to the airport to go back home. The taxi started to have some problems and we were scared we'd miss the flight, but it ended up well. xD

Then we found a miniature of the airport. Need I say anything more?
Tapi: RAWR, TAPI ANGRY. TAPI DESTROY ALL TINY CARS!
... I swear the miniature was covered, he did no damage. xD
Nice view... not.
So we went to have some lunch while we waited for the plane...
Tapi, NO.
Tapi: But... sugar... ;~;
We might have a little problem here.
Careful now, buddy. Don't spill.
We then began playing with the bottlecap. So cute.
Tapi: Look what I can do, mommy!
Tapi: Hmm, Guaraná *-*
And toast~
And rush to the plane! He decided to stay inside my jacket's pocket this time. Dawww x3
Tapi: Mommy, I'm sleepy...
So the plane took off once again...
Tapi slept all the way home.
When we got to the airport, my uncle came to pick us up. While we waited for his car, we decided to take a photo of the nice ceiling. xDDD
And so, after a long journey, our little adventurer returns to his home...
And to the family he loves.
