Just an hour or so ago I decided that i am going to stop being a lame slacking bad friend and at least post in my LJ more often. I think one reason I stopped posting on Vox was because it got too public. Well, there are other reasons too. Mainly, I want the comfort of my old friends. Are they even here still? Are you still in Germany? Currently we are in Jarnac, France. The weather here has been more than reasonable, especially given how hot it has been everywhere else. It seems that we got out of Charlotte just in time. I think it has been well above 90 for over a month now. Life is good. Starting a Master's program in the fall. I will be studying various aspects of environmental toxicology with respect to the wellness of the eastern US oyster... which, in light of recent ecological tomfoolery, is going to be kind of a bummer.

For the moment though, we are off to Royan to hang out for the afternoon. Whereabouts are you applying?

yes, we're still in Germany. But just because it's hotter elsewhere doesn't mean it's not hot here =P We have a very small apartment with no a/c and of course, nothing at all in Marburg has a/c. Actually, the McDonalds in town is like a sauna. I don't even know how people work there, or if people ever go back after the first time they visit, heh.

Well, it's always exciting to start a new degree and who knows, maybe you change your track. And maybe none of it matters when a giant methane bubble explodes and destroys life as we know it!

I'll let you know about the job app later, it's not something I want to say in public yet because what if they find my whiny blogs... =P I think they're all public, sigh.

I know what you mean. There's barely anyone on here and with my family on facebook, there's not many places that I can be OPEN anymore. Here my LJ is friends only so I can mostly post what I want. I'm starting a blog, but anonymously with an alias. It seems to be the only way to be ME without worrying about family or employers finding out. I'll message it to you on FB. <3

Hi. So, I still read LJ all the time. Which is silly but fun. I'm thinking of starting a video blog. Not sure what about... maybe about nothing. HI! (I'm at like 425/700 for me EK Loremaster and 342/700 for Kalimdor.) I missed you!
